  Real Life story by Johan Swart (March 2022)   Meet James.   Back in 2011 he did a full sailing course and obtained a master diver certification, but he never worked in the yachting industry. He decided to study Hospitality Management first. He obtained a BTech degree in Hospitality Management. While he was studying, the wine industry got his attention. He started studying wine and received his WSET level 3 certification in wine. He then started to work in the cruise line industry and progressed from bar waiter to Head Sommelier.   When James joined the cruise line industry, he was one of my coaching clients.   The COVID 19 virus crisis has changed the world that we know. Did anyone really see this coming?   The 2020 pandemic has changed the world upside down without notification.   Many people might have lost their jobs as businesses and industries collapsed almost out of the blue. Suddenly all horizons were clouded and unclear.   Are you able to stay CALM during any crisis period?     Few of us will be able to say ’yes’ with confidence.
